Yup, somebody on Twitter just this morning ripped into me for “spreading negative news” and encouraging “doom scrolling.” God forbid I interrupt the peace of her day with REAL NEWS.

She COULD choose to take to the streets and protest, to volunteer to register voters, to raise money, to run for office. Or whatever. Instead she whines to me that the true news I’m reporting is bothering her. Pttttth!
