Yup, ion thrusters are incredibly cool technology and an excellent example of how diversity and fresh thinking bring us innovation and prosperity.

The United States has been a leader in science and technology because we have traditionally welcomed infusions of talent and genius from all over the world. Closing ourselves off to the world doesn’t foster innovation, it creates insularity and stagnation.
