You’re so right. We really need our flag back. We need our idealism as American progressives seen as patriotic.

I’ve been thinking about this for a while, and for months I’ve been throwing Republican buzzwords like liberty into my writing, trying to subvert political language a bit.

I get odd little comments once in a while, like, “Um, dude, nice piece and all, but don’t you think parts of sounded a little Republican-y?”

Yip.

My version of a flag hat. ;-)
