You’re embarrassing me. ;-) I guess the reason I published the story was to show why it’s so important for people in non-traditional families to be allowed to foster and adopt children. Believe it or not, even in 2019, that’s not a settled question. So, I wanted to tell our story, show people how without my partner and me, Brent would have had a very different life.
