Your perspective is interesting. I live deep in Trump country instead of the liberal bubbles that I spent most of my life in. Just about everyone I see everyday is a Trump supporter. I feel like a mouse in a cat convention.

Some of my family is nearby and of course we never ever talk about politics. That’s avoidable.

But the masks! People around here refuse to wear masks. It’s a mark of political pride for them. It’s a mark of their reverence for Dear Leader.

One good thing that’s come out of all this is that I now understand strong-man worship from an up close and personal point of view.
