Your characterization of the issue as "disagreement" is disingenuous to the point of intentional falsehood. Labeling transgender women as rapists, which Rowling is doing increasingly frequently is by definition a violent act, meaning an act that will certainly lead to (and has done already) to violence against transgender women.
"Agreement" has nothing to do with it. Transgender women are vanishingly unlikely to be rapists. In fact, they are far less likely to be rapists than the average person. Halls is not "disagreeing" with Rowling about that likelihood, she's noting that Rowling is wrong, empirically speaking.
She's noting that Rowling's false statements about transgender women being rapists are violent statements. They are violent statements.
