Your article about Brown reminds me of your previous comments on how conservative Christians writers are straying from their expertise ... writing about things they don't know anything about.

Brown seems entirely ignorant of what is is to be either LGB or T. He's addressing subjects and people from a place of (quite possibly willful) ignorance.

Furthermore, his comments don't seem grounded in Christianity or scripture so much as in his own personal beliefs about people he doesn't know anything about and doesn't want to know anything about.

Any LGB people allying with conservative Christians like Brown out of some sense that trans folks harm LGB folks had better pay heed.

The same conservative Christian Witherspoon Institute that the UK-based LGB Alliance is so happy to partner with to denounce trans people? Well, their views on LGB people and LGB equality are every bit as ignorant and toxic as Michael Brown's.
