You remind me that a conservative, anti-LGBTQ thought leader on Twitter mocked my appearance when she disagreed with what I had to say. She simply blew up my Twitter profile photo which had the effect of showing off bags under my eyes and skin that definitely does not belong to a young person.

I can't remember exactly what she said but she captioned my own photo with words like, "Would you trust anything this guy had to say?"

Her blatant ageism backfired that time, with many people responding that my appearance is perfectly fine. But ... It's instructive that she thought her criticism might be effective.

She herself is almost 40 years old with an appearance that looks extremely expensive to maintain. Let's see how she feels 10 or 20 years from now. Lol!
