You make a fantastic point. Since this story first broke, I've learned that Coeur d’Alene has a fairly large LGBTQ community with plenty of local support. I'm not saying everything is peaches and cream, but queer people from Coeur d’Alene tell me they feel relatively well accepted there.

And that is good news!
