You know, you’d think a so-called labor shortage would be a wake-up call for right-wing ideologues who preach the gospel of market forces.

Not to praise Henry Ford as a saint by any means, but even he knew that attracting a quality work force meant paying them very well. That was a pretty radical idea in his day, but it became a conservative mantra.

So what the hell happened?

Now we have capitalists complaining that workers aren’t content to work for wages that don’t even provide them a real living?
