You know what? You’ve already moved me enormously. That perspective is so real, so wrong, and so important.

Of course I’m sorry beyond words that that’s your reality. Nothing I can do or say could change your lived perspective.

But it’s still a story that needs to be heard, because, and maybe I’m just foolishly optimistic, most decent human beings don’t want you to have to feel that way.

I don’t think most people know you do feel that way, or that so many other people do too.

I’m willing to bet your story, powerfully told, could change hearts and minds.
