You know what? I can sew buttons on and do other basic sewing tasks, and that has nothing to do with the fact that I'm a gay man.

Guess where I learned basic sewing techniques?

In Marine Corps boot camp and later in infantry training!

All Marine trainees are issued sewing kits and are expected to learn how to use them to keep their uniforms in good repair — often by sewing on lost buttons.

I mean, nobody wants a dysfunctional uniform in combat because somebody's wife or mother hadn't had time to be a seamstress. Right?

So this day, if a button pops off of something of mine, I just sew it back on.

For anybody who thinks that's feminine, I learned it in the Marines! Lol
