You know, Tyler Perry camping it up dressed as a woman is drag. It's the definition of drag. Quintessential drag.

I've seen him live on stage in New York City in audiences full of gay men who openly appreciated the performances as funny drag.

The furor in right wing Christian circles over the last couple weeks about drag queens is either manufactured and disingenuous or deeply misinformed. The idea that drag shows are sex acts or strip shows or whatever people are trying to claim they are has nothing to do with what drag shows actually are, which primarily is absurdist comedy.

I suggest most right-wing public figures aren't being disingenuous; they're lying on purpose.

And the Christian ones, of course, as you say, are sinning.
