But wealthy white men like McConnell don’t give a shit. They want to squeeze blood from stones, then disparage the moral character of hard-working people who have no money and no way to earn any. Because of an unprecedented national health crisis.

It’s hard to believe how cold and evil most Republican politicians are. Yes, obviously they are racist, but they aren’t just racist.

Something else is fundamentally sick and twisted about them. McConnell doesn’t have a soul, he has something filthy and rotting in the place of a soul.

When villains are created in literature, sometimes it’s hard to believe any human being could be that cold and awful. Then you take a look at a man like Mitch McConnell, and you see that exact capacity for horror and evil staring you back in the face.
