You know, so many unanticipated things are happening with this health crisis.

I have a friend who writes on Medium who has Alagille Syndrome. As a child, he received a kidney transplant and a liver transplant.

He lost his kidney last year and is on permanent dialysis. And just last week his liver started to show signs of being in rejection.

He is terrified of covid19 because he is so vulnerable. His step mom works in healthcare, so that makes things really tough for the family. Her being a nurse puts him and the rest of the family in danger of becoming infected.

And just to make things worse, the lockdown in Michigan yesterday has made it really hard for him get transportation to his dialysis appointments.

Anyway, just venting here. Just agreeing with your point that all of us need to think about the most vulnerable of us. We need to do what we can to work through this with love.

Thanks.
