You know, not for nothing, but as a gay man I’m part of a class of people who disproportionately experienced bullying in school. Almost all of my gay male friends were targets of bullying, sometimes pervasively so. Yet gay men are not disproportionately violent compared to the rest of society. In fact, some studies show the opposite is true.
