You know, it really boils down to Francis being a sexist piece of shit. Only recently, he affirmed the Church's obnoxious Marian and Petrine principles to explain why no woman could ever serve as a priest, which of course has the practical effect that no woman can exercise high leadership in the Church because only priests can do that.

The principles he cited boil down to an ideal of women nurturing and serving in society, as men lead and innovate.

How sick is that?

So I guess it's not all that unusual that the priests who believe in this sick shit panic when something disrupts their sexist authoritarianism. How do you keep women barefoot and pregnant if gender is fluid?

So, of course Francis and the other sexist pigs at the Vatican are panicking over transgender people. It messes with their egos, men who live like princes served by humble women who kiss their rings.
