You know, it feels so odd to me that we even have to have this conversation, though clearly we do.

I can’t imagine touching another person’s hair unless they were an intimate family member or lover. Maybe it’s just me, but that seems like such an incredible violation of space.

It’s an intimate act that requires intimacy between the two people involved.
