You know, I lost my job for being gay. (Technically, I quit, but I quit before I could be fired and even possibly jailed.)

I was an Air Force intelligence officer in my twenties. I was given a polygraph, questioned about being gay, and I failed the test. Because of course, I had lied and said I wasn't gay.

Subversion.

Intentional lawbreaking.

We queer people do that all the time all over the world. We break the law because we refuse to bow down to evil people.

I applaud you for joining us in our subversion. I encourage you to continue breaking the law at every opportunity.

Thank you! On behalf of myself and your student.
