You know, I don’t have links available right now, but I’ve written about this before and I should probably dig up my notes. The so-called #map movement, at least on Twitter, has been exposed several times as little more than right-wing provocation. Most of the Twitizens using the tag have turned out to not be genuine.

As far as I’ve been able to determine after quite a lot of digging, this so-called called movement doesn’t actually exist outside the minds of a few alt-right folks who wish it did, for ideological purposes.
