You know, creative writing depends so much for power on the emotional punch and taste of different words.

This is one of the reasons why translation from a different language is often so disappointing. Words carry so much more than their lexical meaning, and translation can almost never get that right.

“Boobs” is a great example of a word that carries so much context in flavor beyond its lexical meaning. I find it this tasteful too, but I suppose there are people who experience it differently.
