You know, Amy Coney Barrett testified flat out she has never and would never discriminate based on “sexual preference.”

How disingenuous.

She sat on the board of directors of a school that explicitly prohibits LGBTQ people from attending or serving as a member of the staff.

The leader of People of Praise, the religious group in which she is a member and served in a leadership position, stated just the other day that LGBTQ people are expelled from the group.

Amy Coney Barrett presents herself as a person of integrity. But from my perspective as an LGBTQ person, she clearly lied to Congress and she lied to the American people.

Whether she believes she is lying or not, she clearly supports discriminating against people because of their sexual orientation. She participates in institutions that are founded on that principle.

It’s discouraging to me that she has not faced more withering fire over that.
