You know, after growing up in rural areas and suburbs living in houses, I lived in apartments for most of my life, in big cities.

Now, in my early 60s, I live in a house that I own. It's a pretty good deal out here in rural Michigan where living is inexpensive. My house isn't terribly large or difficult to maintain, so I don't have that to complain about.

But I can complain about missing apartment life. I know some people prefer more privacy, and I thought I probably would too. I don't know whether this is a "grass is always greener on the other side" thing, but I find myself missing the readily available companionship of city life and apartment life.

Right now, if I had to choose, I would choose apartment living over house living.

Thank you very much for promoting my story about rainbow symbols. I really appreciate it!
