You are wrong. The Confederacy rebelled because they wanted to continue slavery. Serious historians are unanimous about that. The documented evidence is overwhelming. This has nothing to do with Left or Right. It’s about truth.

And by the way, a way of life based on enslaving people is morally revolting.

Not only was enslaving people to maintain a way of life not going to die out on its own, leaders were working to export it further south in the Americas. Only losing the war stopped those vicious enslavers from continuing with their thoroughly evil plans.

To claim otherwise is to rape the truth.
