Yet, I am an atheist very much loves Christmas, and I reject the very notion of spirituality, because I don't believe there's any evidence to show that anything supernatural exists.

And I love Christmas, without making it about materialism and over consumption. To me, it's about love, friendship, light conquering darkness, the promise of winter ending, etc.

Christmas is a huge part of the culture that I'm part of, and I don't have to be spiritual or even recognize the existence of spirituality to love Christmas.

I get annoyed when religious or spiritual people insist that we atheists cannot or should not participate in society.

The very first sentence of your article utterly turned me off to the article and to you as a person. You don't have to be like that.
