I guess my point here is that yes, their policies are very problematic, but in addition they have a corporate culture of refusing to interact with people with a stake in those policies.
Facebook executives will not behave as if they are accountable to anyone, despite their monopolistic hold on certain forms of communication.
At this point, given their recalcitrant corporate culture, a forced legal breakup maybe the only solution.
