Yes, you did not actually lose followers. Your count was adjusted to subtract non-genuine followers – bots or spam accounts. Medium does this from time to time so that your follower count is more meaningful. I presume something like that happened recently, no other people say there's a software glitch going on.

In either case, it does not mean you actually lost followers.
