Yes! Yes, I haven't thought about the sequel to A Normal Heart in years, but I actually saw it twice at the Lucille Lortel. Lenny, through his volunteer positions, got comps for a preview performance, then we bought tickets to see it again not too long after it opened.
Larry had done a lot more thinking about HIV and AIDS, and he had a lot more experience with HIV activism. The play is definitely worth more attention, I think. Larry, obviously, was every bit the hero that Peter Staley and Anthony Fauci were. And this play is a peek into his inner life and motivations.
