Yes, while I count myself a left-wing progressive, supportive of Sanders and Warren, I never really got the visceral opposition to Pete, even though he wasn’t my first-choice candidate.

After Iowa, I started getting excited. I thought he had a real shot, and I was very excited about that. It’s probably not the radical academic left that shot him down, but I am disappointed in some of their thoughtlessness in condemning him.

I think he has a bright future in the Democratic Party, and I certainly look forward to supporting him in the future!
