Yes, the Michigan House and Senate are majority Democrat this year, and our Democratic governor and legislative leaders are taking full advantage of the opportunity to pass laws. It's awesome.

Lapeer County, however, is a red county, and the prosecutor in this story is a Republican who ran on an anti-LGBTQ platform.

His threat of arrest is all but hollow, but I think it's instructive how low he'll stoop to fire up his constituents.
