Yes! I've written about the Supreme Court allowing Amish parents to exempt their children from minimum state education requirements. (Amish children typically receive no schooling beyond 8th grade. and the deficient schooling they DO receive makes higher education almost impossible for them to even apply for later in life. Ex-Amish activists are calling for reform, saying their human right to education was denied them, that they should not have been viewed as the property of their parents when the education was denied, and that they (like all children) should have had the EFFECTIVE right to educate themselves while they were still minor children. Because by the time they turn 18 and have the legal right to decide for themselves, it's too late.
