Yes, it amazes me every day how much people who think of themselves as progressive accept homophobia and speak out against those of us who reject it.

It’s a subtle thing. They’ll disclaim. “I don’t personally have a problem with gays and equal rights, but not everyone agrees, and that’s OK. People are entitled to their views.”

Really, people are entitled to think I’m second class, and you’re OK with that? Do you even hear yourself?

Drives me up a wall.
