Yes, I watch a lot of YouTube videos showing American police brutality in action. At first, I was shocked, thinking the brutality I’d seen in news reports sort of covered things. I had no idea how much brutality goes unreported but how much you can watch every day on YouTube.

Reinforced for me how thoroughly disgusting US cops are. I don’t think it’s so much a matter of training, though, as endemic culture. Police culture in the US is overwhelmingly about bullying, physical force, torture, and deadly violence. You can’t train your way out of that. It’s too entrenched.
