Yes, HRC are mobilizing and reacting to the backlash in fairly serious ways that I didn't expect given their centrist reputation. They're even supporting travel boycotts of Florida now, in principle.

I think they're very alert and aware right now, and I think they responding strongly, centering the needs of ordinary LGBTQ people. Sometimes it takes a crisis to bring everybody together.
