Yes. :-( Coincidentally, I started re-sharpening my once-fluent Russian a bit over a year ago by consuming Russian-language media, and in the process became fascinated with Ukrainian language and culture. (Google and YouTube aren’t always very bright about the their recommends.) I see Ukrainian language reality TV and other programming pop up all the time, and I watch, sick with worry about the lovely people in the videos who seemed so cheerful and lovely such a short time ago. It’s heartbreaking.
