Yes, as a matter of fact very good data indicates that children raised in families headed by same-sex couples do better in life than children raised by opposite-sex couples.

That is not exactly a fair comparison, because same-sex parents raising children tend to be fairly well-off financially, which probably explains the disparity.

But at the very least we can see that with no higher negative outcome, there is not any inherent risk in the situation.
