Yeah. What really startles me are the people who can express strong bigotry and intolerance so easily.

Last night on Facebook, somebody told me he was wishing for the gas chambers to return for gay people — this in response to an article I was promoting about how anti-LGBTQ bullying in schools has spiked since Trump became president.

This morning on Medium somebody felt the the need to tell me that LGBTQ equality isn’t freedom, it’s “perverted acts.”

Both of these people posted under what look like established, public accounts under their real names.

The guy on Facebook is especially public, plugged in as he seems to be to a large network of family and friends.

Did he even think, as he urged the has chamber for gay folks, that some his own Facebook friends are probably gay?

Boggles the mind.
