Yeah, it would take an act of God (pun intended) for the Equality Act to pass this congressional term. The Republican Senate will likely not even allow a vote on it. Opposition is fierce. It’s very, very strange how we’ve gotten into such a position of minority rule in this country. Religious, conservative forces have an absolute stranglehold on the political system. Something like 77% of Americans approve of the Equality Act, but a small minority are enough to stop it.
