Yeah, I don’t know or pretend to know what the Garda’s concerns are. They could be acting with ill intent or (as is quite likely) they could just be playing by established doctrine that says don’t release photos or video of violence in which children are involved. I’ve published op-eds in mainstream LGBTQ news sources that would not run my illustrations for the same reason, citing policy and standard practice.

I think policies need to be reexamined.
