Yeah, according to a lot of the young people I know, “fag” is still pretty popular as an insult in school. “Gay” is omnipresent as a synonym for bad or uncool.

I guess I’m familiar with the origins of “you suck” because I’m just the right age to have been around as it was starting up.

In the 1970’s, we all knew that it was sexual, even though at my young age I wasn’t quite sure how it was sexual.
