Wow, Jakes is a disgusting piece of homophobic shit in public — One of the most influential religious leaders in the U.S. to morally condemn gay people.

After his son's sex scandal, Jakes went on the record clarifying his positions to say that he would never hire a "sexually active" gay person in his ministry — apparently responding to critics who thought he was going soft.

In 2015, Jakes gave an interview with the Huffington Post saying that he was evolving on gay issues, and in the article he sounded fairly supportive of gay Christians.

Then, there was some apparent backlash, and he spoke up to clarify, saying the interview had been rushed and that his true feelings had not come out. He made it crystal clear that you cannot be gay and a Christian at the same time. He made it crystal clear that he believes that same-sex marriage is morally wrong, as is any same-gender sex in any context.

Like I said, he's a disgusting piece of shit.

And now it comes out that he might have been leading a downlow gay life all his life? If it's true, if that's the kind of hypocrite he really is come I hope he suffers horribly.

But more importantly, I hope more Americans learned that homophobic Christian leaders like him are full of shit.
