Wow, I’m an amateur runner, and have followed competative running for many years. I have news for that kind. Competitive women runners run faster than men all the time.

That’s not to say that men in general don’t have an advantage in running over women, they do. But many women can beat many men.

In my 40s, I had an excellent competitive marathon time. My times in my age class put me in the top percentage of non-elite runners in most of the races I entered. But women whizzed past me all the time. And not just younger ones or professional ones. Any runner could tell you how great women are at running.
