Wow.
I don't use AI detectors on my own writing, and I didn't recognize "burstiness" until you explained it. But when you did, I realized I almost always vary my sentence length on purpose as I write. If I write a long sentence? I make sure to write a very short one next. (Or soon. Don't want to be too predictable cuz predictable is boring.)

That goes along with intentionally evaluating my sentences for rhythm. I like my writing to have a nice cadence when read aloud, so I consciously craft sentences for pleasing rhythm, or at least what would be pleasing to me. LOL. Who knows if other people feel the same?

Anyhoo, thanks for the fascinating dive. I have lots of writing to do today, but maybe when I'm done I'll play around with detectors.
