Wow, I can’t even imagine. I’ve done distant swimming in my life, sometimes in the ocean, but jumping in at Alcatraz? Brrrrrr!

Rowing sounds awesome, though. I’ve never rowed, outside canoes and jon boats in my youth when I was fishing, but I can imagine that must be a really cool experience.
