Wow!

Talk about mind opening. As an amateur student of history, I absolutely KNEW that the Pharisees became the rabbis who preserved post-Temple Judaism and developed the faith over the centuries through Talmudic discourse.

Of course I knew.

And I still never connected the dots. Using “Pharisee” as a pejorative is insulting to those traditions and to the Jewish people who honor them. Duh! *facepalm*
