Why not? Like I said in a previous comment, I grew up in a conservative Christian culture. The people I grew up with were proudly sexist and homophobic. They made no bones about it.

Eventually, I moved to New York City and became part of a queer culture, that values women and abhors sexism and homophobia.

My culture is far far better — More moral, more decent, more kind, and more egalitarian than conservative Christian culture.

My culture IS better, and I'll debate (and intellectually/morally destroy) anyone who tries to claim otherwise.
