Institutional feminism here in the United States has largely not collapsed. We don’t have widespread government austerity defunding programs for women. Most of our universities fund feminist studies as extensively as ever.
I could hypothesize without looking into the matter deeply that those differences can explain why anti-trans movements here are largely religious (which doesn’t mean they are not serious) and not eating significantly into traditional progressive or liberal political bases.
