When nobody can be different enough to acknowledge, then everybody has to be mostly the same, don't they?

If you don't know how you're doing on a demographic level providing services, then you're probably missing out serving a particular population. For a business focused on making money providing services, that doesn't strike me as a very smart move. If you paid attention, you could probably fix whatever the problem is.

Bu then, conformity and sameness are big now on the right. Everyone is essentially the same, they say, so let's focus on what unites us instead of what divides is.

That sounds okay on the surface, except that it misses something critical: opposition to diversity strangles people, businesses, and society. We are stronger for our differences and weaker when we force conformity.
