When I write and speak about social justice, especially for LGBTQ people, my context makes plain that I am talking about the society I live in. Only an especially ignorant or obtuse person would think that that I meant, say, Morocco, when I was writing about the United States -- even if I did not choose to constantly specify geography. Well, it would take an especially obtuse person or a person intentionally leveraging whataboutism to make fun of ideas they don't agree with in the first place.
