What's so striking about conservative Protestant Christians when they go on and on about how their "sola scriptura" belief system is the only valid Christian theology, is how fast they are to throw out scripture when it doesn't suit their biases.

The Bible is silent, completely silent, on women having sexual or romantic relationships with other women. It's even possible to read some Old Testament stories as lesbian love stories. (Ruth and Naomi, anyone? Anyone?)

Sorry, Christian Post editorial guys, just because you have traditional beliefs you back-read into the Bible doesn't mean people have to respect your beliefs.
